Basically, it is the Welsh alternative to putting 'Limited' or 'Ltd' after the company name. It's only allowed for Welsh-based organisations.

Hope all is well with everyone here.

Dear John,

It's great to hear how our money shall be spent - it's good to know it's being thought about at least.

You said you ask members to \"donate to their favorite causes\" and that is what I have done - donated to one of my favourite causes, that being the TotJO. The upkeep of this website is of course essential and necessary to keep the Jediist community alive and vibrant. As with our website and many others, too.

Hope the meds don't keep you down for too much longer,

MTFBWY

Again my personal thanks and on behalf of The Order thanks for your kind and generous donation. I have a feeling that you wear many hats at Holyhead CoJ cyf and are probably doing all the work.

I thank the maker every day that we have so many officers here who are far greater Jedi than I and much more talented in their particular specialties than I.

I am not The Voice of TOTJO as there are many. I'm here to handle legal issues, give parliamentary advice, vote in case of a deadlock and promote TOTJO. I do not even take students.

I'm not sure what to make of your 'many hats' comment, but I do a lot of the admin work for the Office for Mission Administration, yes. We have many keen contributors happy to help out if we need it, and that is what we are offering the TotJO - any help you need, we're here for you. We're all united under the Force.

It's great to hear about all the contributions you make towards the TotJO and I congratulate you for that. We appreciate the work you have put in to establishing this community, and I'm sure we're not the only ones. Thank you, Brother John. Let us not forget all others who make positive contributions to the TotJO including Kana, Ren, Mark and co - thanks to you, too.

That's what I mean. The many who make and have made TOTJO what it is. I'm not mentioning particular names right now since as crummy as I'm feeling now I'd probably accidently leave someone out.

Xan, thank you. I found the message and here is my reply.

I stated the meaning of CYF a couple of posts ago. It is simply the Welsh alternative to using 'LTD\". It is important to make sure statistics are not confused. We do not, and never have, claimed 390,000 members. In the 2001 census, this was the number of people who wrote 'Jedi' as their religion - and that is all we have said. It is the press who have mistaken this for meaning they are all members of our organisation.

Our database currently has 16,000 members however we are going through an update and verification period and so will have a more accurate number fairly soon we hope.

Daniel Jones is not the leader of the Church, he is the founder - we do not worship him or see him as a higher rank than any other member of the COJ, he represents us on a regular basis, but anyone is welcome to do so after registration as a Minister.

We never sued Tesco. We simply looked for legal advice. Daniel did not and still doesn't have the funds to pursue the case any further (or so I believe)

Let me remind us all that the so called 'Tesco incident' was over a year ago.

All organisations have their imperfections, but the so called 'Tesco incident' was a personal matter of Daniel Jones', as was Chris Jarvis' Jobcentre incident. We are all one under the Force, yes, however the COJ is not a body of the individuals' spokespersons.

May the Force bid you well,

John, I hope you feel better soon. Perhaps a session of meditation may help?

The census phenomenon is quoted quite a bit on CoJ's official Twitter account. Thus CoJ uses the false data created by that census as a propoganda tool.....care for me to post actual twitter postings from CoJ that can back this up?

Our database currently has 16,000 members however we are going through an update and verification period and so will have a more accurate number fairly soon we hope.

And how many of those members are active? My thoughts are, by looking at your own forums, that is less then 1% of registered users. 16,000 members to a website does not mean active practitioners.

Daniel Jones is not the leader of the Church, he is the founder - we do not worship him or see him as a higher rank than any other member of the COJ, he represents us on a regular basis, but anyone is welcome to do so after registration as a Minister.

He is the most visible face of your organization. the one that has had the most public exposure. And as a founder, therefore sets the tone of the organization. Do not quibble of terms Mr.forbe. you and I both know this to be the case.

We never sued Tesco. We simply looked for legal advice. Daniel did not and still doesn't have the funds to pursue the case any further (or so I believe)

So you would continue the Tesco matter further if you had the funds. Intriguing that, seeing as CoJ is now set up as a business, according to the law in Britain. Both these incidents though showed a real lack of awareness not only in part of the individuals invovled but the fact that CoJ and Jediism were mentioned in these reports, goes to show how one's actions reflect on the group and thus the whole of the community associated.

Saying that the incident was a year ago does not change facts Mr.Forbe nor are you going to skirt around that issue.

Again the lack of accountablity and forthrightness of CoJ, of which Daniel Jones is the leader, according to the legal papers. Now then.....care to not tow the \"party\" line and actually stand up on these issues and realize this?
