I propose adding a bit to the Doctrine and Creed page that describes the difference between us being a Philosophy, and a religion. ANd the difference between being a Jediist, and walking the Jedi path. I think both are very important, fine lines, that many cannot differentiate.

I wonder if you (Angelus) should actually just take this idea up with grand Master Jon as he is the person who is/has been working so hard on the Canon Law and FAQ/Frontpage(s) recently.
Please dont mistake this for any kind of negativity/criticsm - what im saying is that I feel this particular item is easiest taken on board by the person directly - cut out the middlemen/women so to speak
Drop GMJ with your idea(s) - sounds very reasonable to me

Just as one apprentice, I'll throw my support into the ring for the regular meetings. A regular forum for dscussing issues, ideas and plain regular temple business is nothing but a positive four our temple.
One note, no matter how regular it gets, we need to keep the modertor for the meetings. Keeping order, staying on-topic and ensuring the agenda is maintaned is very important to an effective meeting.
If we don't want to give the impression ofit being a certin persons meeting te we can rotate the chair ona schedule using Grand Masters and/or Senior Masters.

It just occured to me that perhaps we should discuss the basis for Banning, Blocking, all the way to to Excommunication and make sure that there are no grey areas, this should be black and white and in the past it hasn't been so black and white. I think we should discuss this in full to make things clear to everyone what is to be expected of booted from anything and everything here. Also, about what defects an apprentice might have to be not worth apprenticeship or reasons that might be made for a Master to leave an apprentice. (I know that last part could be worded better and i am sorry for not be quite so elegant as i could be)

Yes, Anora! I think it's important to let everyone knows the penalties and punishments around here.

Some issues, especially after the recent occurance to be considered...
1. Accounts taken on by multiple persons (Decided)
2. Conditions for maintaining offices
- Frequency, activity...
- Office definition
- Nomenclature
- Multiple membership of sites
3. Reasons for disciplinary action
- Anti social behaviour
- Advertising
- Back stabing
- Breach of confidence

OK - I forgot something else (again
- must be getting old - i guess at 700 years of age its to be expected
)
Im not saying this is entirely necessary for the first meeting - but Im wondering if someone should be the Initiates/Apprentices representative (ie one of the Knights or Masters)
If one of these members or even a straight user (ie not Jedi) wishes to put forward an idea without public posting, this person could be the place to go. Again - this could be done on a rota basis (4 or 6 months for example)

That is a nice suggestion, Kana, though, wouldn't it be more appropriate to have an apprentice, representing the apprentices? Again, i'm going through the motions, but we need to be represented by one of our own apprentices, and not a Knight or a Master, who hasn't been an apprentice for some time. If I can, and if he'll accept, i'd like to nominate Nephilim to be the apprentices representative. I trust him, and he is my friend. I know he can serve the position well.

Ah, well then why do we even need representation? We can manage ourselves. Or perhaps we should have a forum! After all, the Knights and Masters are no more important than we are, correct? I'd like to propose that, rather than the apprentices and initiates be represented, why don't we just have our own meetings and forums?
