Ok Rich clarification when you say pre-masters to what are you refering as pre-masters?
As for intake officers doing that I see no reason why that should not fall under our jurisdicition, but think that Jake should be the one to decide that.
As for cirriculum, we really need a \"Surf the TOTJO website and how to find items\" also, for recently this has become somewhat of an issue. Call it a treasure hunt on that instance, but would greatly help out all the new incoming initiates.
I also think that during this time that these smaller classes are going on with \"pre-masters\" that each member involved in this classes keep a journal no exceptions. reason for this is really simple, it shows what they are learning and also shows retainment of that knowledge.
As for the rolling system that is a good idea, but we must also have a contengency plan for that as well, a back up for if someone is sick we need to make sure that there is someone there to teach.

'Pre-Master' the 'teacher' who goes over curriculum work with initiates... rank of this person like always can be knights or masters.
All just ideas.... dont forget clergy stuff in curriculum, as well as covering (briefly) each of the rites... maybe even a little on each on the main world religions on the off-chance this hasn't been covered in the persons regular education... i know it wasn't done properly in my school
Problem with this topic is that there is information on it dotted all over the place now 9ie curriculum) and really needs to be kept in one place
anyway, all options and ideas are wanted and needed.

While I was away I have witnessed a training programme which caters for any number of people. And it works. It ensures that the masters are not over stretched, if students or Masters disappear the course will not deflate, everyone can work at their own pace without holding others up and a quality of work from the students. Here it is....
This is only a really basic idea of a training plan. There are various levels to work up. This will provide a motivation for the student. Each level consists of a certain number of questions or lessons. These are set questions to be worked out in a certain order. The questions should be formulated first by a comitee of masters. We should require the student to answer in essay form, with spelling and grammar chequed before hand. The essay should not be finished in less than 10 days to make sure it has been carefully thought about. Each essay has to be read and approved by each of the masters before the next one can be dealt with. The student may be asked to elabourate further. Once all questions have been dealt with the masters have to vote to allow the student onto the next level.
I think this simple plan could be a real break through.

sounds pretty straight forward to me. Only question is how do we get all the Masters to vote on it in relative small time of manner?

We can let this settle for a few days. Then put this to a vote giving a time limit. We use what we get from that time.
Then we can start by organising Master work groups for the respective levels. These will set the lessons and act as teachers for their respective level. We could get this started by next month.

I have one suggestion and a couple of questions. I suggest that maybe the voting could be done via video conference during a common, due to time zones. This better expedite the results.
Would the curriculum be handled in cycles? And would the present students be grand-fathered in?

Thanks for those good questions Decimus. The poles should be made simple. If someone say doesn`t have a camera, they would be excluded. For record we could have the Masters post their opinion here for all to see. The great thing about this system is that everyone can step in when they want. They can step in when they want, starting from A to B, predecessor profiting from successor and vice versa. I think it would be just to leave present students the choice. But this will most definitely apply to those following.

Good question Karol. Most certainly there will be the Book, but also more. This has to be still fixed. First though I want to get the system up. I would appreciate all votes here on my suggestion I posted earlier.

From my understanding Karol it will be the basics like 16 principals, tenants, oaths, vows, navigation of site, and some other elements as well.
