Any interest in a monthly "All Call"?

In an effort to keep everyone informed, I was thinking of having councillors (at least one) running ... well we call it a "Commander's Call" or an "All Call". It's an opportunity for the leadership to disseminate information to all the members about ongoing projects, briefings on whatever they find necessary or helpful, updates on missions, and a way for members' questions and concerns to be addressed.

Would you find this handy if we held one in chat once a month? Figured we could use it to talk about ongoing protects, advertise volunteer slots, answer questions, and do a mini "nugget of wisdom" kind of teaching if there's time.

I wouldn't mind such a thing

I like it, though I fear that much like the knights meetings not everyone will be able to show up for a single chat, but perhaps have one, and a post in the forum somewhere or put them in a category as a sort of log where people can also reply with their report as well.

I like the idea but wasn't that the idea that began with the knights meetings and the clergy meetings ? To frequent a taking will often dry the source . Maybe a 4 a year type of thing? Too many meetings will cause many to not attend and may just be a scheduling thing as some may not be able to attend every meeting . Good luck getting a free time where loddie Dottie every body's free . We are international and won't have time slots open at the same time . I'm for it but I'm also a realist who lives here in the real world . With real time - and real kids and real schedules and real things as well as many others here. That's gunna be a tough one .

I like the idea, and I agree with Tella about providing a recording/log for those who can't make it. We would do them every 6-8 weeks at my command.

I like the sound of this, as long as this will be recorded for those who can't attend to listen to later, would be useful perhaps every couple of months...

Carlos, you're thinking about this too hard haha. I'm not requiring attendance, it'll be for those who are free and are interested. Sort of like those monthly reports we use to get from the Council's Secretary but a little more interactive. And kind of like the live sermons where the one leading it sets up the time for it and those who want/can attend will be there.

Zenchi, I think you're right. Once every other month would probably be better. That'd give enough time for projects to get moving a bit more and also give time for teams to deliver reports to be briefed on. Once a month would be too much work here....maybe even once every three months. I think once a quarter would be too few. We'll have to feel it out as we go I think.
