Dan Brown's novel and religious problem? was created by
Hello guys, I'm a big fan of Dan Brown. Recently, I've watched the film Inferno based on the novel of Dan Brown. And I reread this novel. Actually I reread it on RYP ebook apk, and I found some comments around this piece of art. Some say this novel is some kind of anti Christian. But I don't feel this or maybe I'm not sensitive enough to realise it. And Dan also refused this opinion. What do you think about it?

I remember, growing up, my mother was massively against Dan Brown's books for their content. She would say stuff like "They're anti-christian... satanic imagery" ect.
He is an author, and in my opinion his works are quite good. Perhaps they have some imagery, but so what? So long as you doing take poison into your heart, it will not affect you.

I don't know about his Langdon novels, but I read Digital Fortress and Deception Point and I can fairly safely say Dan Brown is Anti-interesting-Plot.
I can't really speculate if he has any religious views, or if he just hates people who read books.
Did I contribute anything useful to this debate? No.
Did I get an opportunity to give negative feedback about Dan Brown? Yes
I'm calling that a win.

I read the first Langdon novel...the one Christians were in an uproar over. It did come across as rather anti-Christian (something I didn't like at the time, but now say "More power to him!") or at least...critical of Christianity.
As a former Christian turned polytheist, anything that criticizes or questions Christianity is fine in my book.
