As if we don't have better things to do right now as a country than "check in" every time someone feels the need to demand it... it's not a nice gesture, it's an imposition. Which is why almost noone has bothered.
We are the ones being stressed... we are the ones being attacked. Waiting until daytime over here to see up come online might be a nicer way of expressing that same concerned sentiment.

My apologies for locking this thread...I will unlock it after I have said my peace...
I locked this thread because it became less about checking in and more about criticizing the method...
I recognize that this is NOT the best method, thank you. It is what there is now. My goal (thanks to this thread) is to have clergy around the world to check in with people regularly...not just when we *think* there should be a check in, but to really build relationship. As it is, we may be lacking in manpower.
And I'm sorry this did not begin sooner, but it is here now and I'm hoping it will be better in the future.
