It will rain eventually, but not tomorrow. Quite the contrary : the météo is predicting 33°C and very sunny.

Well, not at night .... but ... well anyway ...

It won't rain, but the sun will eventually set, and then, yes, I'll light the candles.

I love meditating while it rains. The rain is calming and some of the best naps are taken then! I don't think I could do sensory deprivation to be honest but sitting in the dark and letting the rain fall is the best.

Everyone is being super supportive, and that's great - but if you ask me - Yes, it is weird.

Putting yourself in an environment where you can not use one of your main senses to understand that environment is, basically, odd.


It's cool, and people do it.

I drive with my eyes closed all the time. It's both relaxing and incredibly exciting at the same time.

Moonless nights are wonderfully peaceful.

A few people are saying they like the dark when it's raining - Which is fair enough, you can cut down on one "input" and more fully embrace another.

Full sensory deprivation takes sound odd, and I can't help but feel that I'd pee myself if left to float in body-temperature water for a period of time....

You pee before you get in, silly. And yo're only in for about 90 minutes:P

Yeah, it's odd, but in the most awesome way. Some people have a hard time adjusting to it and it takes a couple of sessions to really get the full effect. I was lucky and slipped into it within minutes. In my experience, you become cut off from your physical senses - just a disembodied consciousness in the infinite.
