What does success look like?

Couldn't say that better even though I'm not sick Senan.
Only thing I would add is owning a fighter jetbut that's just me.

Knowing who I am and what I want, then challenging that perception of who I am to the breaking point to achieve more than i thought possible.
This is great, because it's difficult to quantify and therefore hard to fail....
I'm always vaguely surprised when I get up in the morning, so with only a few distinct moments throughout my life when I have failed to get up in the morning - Every day is a success
I'm not sure that video does what I want it to....so instead I'll just write the Sebben and Sebben mission statement out...
"PUTTING CLIENTS FIRST BY PUTTING EMPLOYEES FIRST IMMEDIATELY AFTER PRIORITISING FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY AND LEVERAGING PROFITABILITY TOWARD EXCEEDING BY EMPOWERING OUR EMPLOYEES TO PUT CLIENTS AND THEMSELVES FIRST. IN A DIVERSE AND RESPECTFUL ENVIRONMENT OF ONLY THOSE THAT COME FIRST, FIRST."
Okay, Success presently looks like learning how to imbed images....
Looks like I'm typing this too...
"The Synergy Award - For strategically managing expectations and streamlining robust and holistic best practices to sharpen plans and institutionalise linkages with laser like focus"
Anyway, I may be being a little harsh, but I don't have much time for folks in crocs and socks who say things like "I'm just being the best me that I can be"
If you can't quantify and measure success, you don't have success you have settling.
(I'm not saying I don't settle, I settled for being me a long time ago)
If you want to call success "Being at peace with the fact that I am only me" (or as popeye would have it "I yam what I yam and that's all what I yam" then I guess that's cool?

So just to clarify... you were not fond of my comment...?

strip out the successful parts of the company to create a new company so they can rip off the shareholders of the old company and grab cash by floating the new company.
If you have any feedback on how we conduct business at Zorg Industries, we welcome your input via our comprehensive helpdesk.

Not at all, I was gleeful for the opportunity.
I was fiddling around in my head with Con's "Authentic living" and Adder's "try and be better and do better", but I couldn't pick a movie reference - you inspired me dang near instantaneously

....(Just to clarify, you wear crocs and socks? :woohoo:   )

Abhor both, actually. I am a creature of warm beach sands and as little clothing as possible.
I've got plenty of sand - we'll invite Senan and his beach chair and six pack. It'll be a regular Success party.

(Might still have to keep an eye out for crocs though !
