It wouldn't, but we haven't established what the ideas are nor that they are good nor even what metric to use to say whether they are. I'm still even waiting to hear the argument. What is there to think about, or to respond to, or to discuss? Heck, when I read through the list of old and new values Proteus composed from the video (thanks for that, by the way, much more convenient than re-watching the passage every time), I don't even see how there is a shift from one to the other, let alone what to make of it.
What of this talk is accurate? What about it is good? What is there to take away from it? What is there to discuss?

Better to leave questions unanswered than answers unquestioned

A discussion doesn't always have to be around a question, although hopefully interesting questions can arise in and from it. I don't know how to answer what you're asking for ...

I just posted this because I find her interesting and wanted to share it to see what discussion we could have on it. Other than that, I personally don't have a point to make (as usual :P )

Speak Truth to Power, Hunting Truth, Fog of Spin :side:

"...all have to some extent moved from me to we, they care less about what they have and more about how much they can offer."

"The inner self awareness enables us to see what we are up to personally and then to move to a helicopter view of that, and see what we can offer to the planet that so needs more work."

"These people want to improve things for other people rather then be impressive."

I think this shift is great, but I think its only possible on the back of globalization - with its inherent top 300 and unequal distribution. Perhaps another shift needs to be accepting that individuals are all equal regardless of wealth such that wealthy people are just people with 'access to wealth', and that wealth itself is not a collection of dollars but rather its a structure of market activity and therefore integral to society itself. So not to undermine the system that allows her shifts to actually have a chance
