I don't know that I have a habit of it but I'm sure there are some unquestioned beliefs that I hold. I try to question everything I "know" on a regular basis so I don't get stuck holding unquestioned beliefs. I'm not sure how good I am at examining my beliefs but I do what I can. I figure if my beliefs can't hold up to at least a cursory questioning then I should really wonder why I believe in them.
I've been questioning some of my spiritual beliefs for a while now and I'm not sure where I stand on them. It's hard to let go of beliefs...particularly when you like the beliefs. But if I'm holding onto things just because I like them then it's time to reevaluate those beliefs again.

“Though, as the crusade presses on, I find myself altogether incapable of staying here in saftey while others shed their blood for such a noble and just cause. For surely must the Almighty be with us even in the sundering of our nation. Our fight is for freedom, for liberty, and for all the principles upon which that aforementioned nation was built.” - Patrick “Madman of Galway” O'Dell

Do you have the habit of holding on to unquestioned beliefs?
