So, if any of you have watched the news or seen any related jokes regarding it, there was a city council meeting in Seattle regarding a new police bureau's creation. After an anonymous chap spoke for the new department (which BLM and several other groups have opposed), a woman opposed to it challenged him asking for his name, to which he responded "Hugh Mungus."
She then proceded to follow him claiming that constituted sexual harassment, and loudly creating a ruckus.
Since then, the incident has been portrayed by many different sides as blatant misogyny or dad humor.
What's your opinion on it?

Warning: Spoiler!
I think it was just a poorly timed joke that the audience (the uploader) wasn't ready to hear. I can see by a stretch if he was making a reference to his penis being humungus that it would be sexual, but from the context, I wouldn't assume it. Either way, she can't prove anything, and I don't think he'll be going out of his way to run into her again.

Only watched the beginning, but he might have been talking about his gut, she sexualized it in her head and then tried convincing others, so...... I turned off :S

In my view the statement was a snarky dad joke level response. I am unsure why it was given. It could be he knew that there questioner had it out for him already. However whatever the reason I think its a very laughable response that did not warrant the response given and certainly was not sexism or misogyny.

There aren't that many things one would want or need someone else's name for. The chap gave a snarky response that amounts basically to "my name is Nunnaf Urbizness", and the lady felt that she was denied something she had a right to, and so she started screaming in the hopes of being submitted to, much like a three-year-old who was denied her candy except that three-year-olds couldn't use candy to become a pest on someone else's life for the upcoming few days.

I saw this video a while ago... I think the guy was just making a joke, and she obviously wanted to be offended by something.
People like her devalue significantly the work that other people do to improve things for women.
I was more bothered by the people shouting in her support than her actually. I seem to remember though the guy leads her to police and she quietened down at that point.
