Thought this was interesting and wanted to share it with you lovely folks here;

It's an article from FarnamStreetBlog - Homeostasis and why we back silde.

https://www.farnamstreetblog.com/2016/06/why-do-we-backslide-on-our-goals/

Or in the hidden spoiler below.

Warning: Spoiler!

Thought that was pretty interesting in regard to being disciplined, or wanting to stick to something. But what do you think? It's more interesting and perhaps a better learning experience for me if you disagree!

Anyway, have a nice day, hugs

Yea, probably fields of stress values, were we seek reinforcement of the familiar and predictable as somehow more safe and less stressful (generally speaking) because it uses less energy to be calm then stressed, and also if the swing from highs to lows like a pendulum have a smaller range of movement then they might be easier to manage effectively with energy intake (diet) and things which entertain and keep one focused on creativity, family etc. Future commitments then impact that energy management plan by the knowledge there will be some unknown extra demand!! Which if course makes the energy pendulum swing more widely.
