I did not post at all in the other thread. I tend to not have interest in drama.

At the heart of the issue we must realize, that once any of us become Knights at this Temple, you are a Leader of this Temple, you are the example. Your actions become the actions of this Temple. Whether we like it or not, our personal opinions regardless of how many times we say this "my opinion and not TOTJOs", become the Temple's opinion. Perception is everything.

These times make great "hard lessons" for each of us. A time to reflect on what happened, to build character and rise from the situation and keep moving forward. I look to the 16 Teachings and 21 Maxims. Some times I pause and use them as a checklist of action. These are the things we do to be the example of Jedi, to be good leaders of this community. We must be mindful of our actions, at all times, which is not always easy, as we have seen here.

As for leaving this Temple over this? I look to the 16th Teaching: "16. Jedi make a commitment to their cause and to humanity. Our ideals, philosophies, and practices define the belief of Jediism and we take action on this path for self-improvement and to help others. We are both the witnesses and protectors of the Jedi way by the practice of our convictions."

I know you folks are rather tired of me bringing up the 'Past' and 'History' However. There is a reason why I am so passionate about the subject. In fact...Lion King 2, Simba the King of the Pridelands says it best.

"Fire is a killer. Sometimes what's left behind can grow back better than the generation before. If given the chance."

This community (The Entire Jedi Community) Including Temple of the Jedi Order, was founded and built up on the Scandals, Drama, Politics, and Mistakes of those before us. It is because of these things that we are able to question our Morals, Codes and foundations and discover who we really are and what path we really follow. If everything in life was easy and without mistakes, we would have no reason to be Jedi now. No reason Train and seek out self improvement and no reason to follow the Doctrines of the order you align with.

Our past teaches us that what happens now, in the present, isn't something we should fear or become discouraged over. It teaches us that when the dust settles and our spirits are clear, we can move forward stronger than before and maybe even earn a few friends along the way :)

It also teaches us that, it will happen again and again. It is up to you, as a Jedi, to prepare for it so that you can face it with Focus, Knowledge, Wisdom, Courage, Humility, Nobility and honesty.

Now it is time to fill the forums up with Happy things we can all grow stronger with :)
