I've been conceal carrying for four years now. I don't walk around with a gunslinger fantasy either. I've served four years in the military and have worked with enough law enforcement to know i'm better off having it and not needing it then needing it and not having it.

I believe it all starts with proper training. Gun control helps but only to a certain extent. If a person really wants to get a gun they don't need to get it from the local gun store. Meth isn't sold at a pharmacy but i bet there's two or three dealers in every town.

I'm a strong supporter of armed citizens, i believe it lowers crime rates and can save lives. Every jedi from youngling to master carried and practice with a weapon everyday. I believe people should do the same. We may be considered pacifists but everyone's got a plan until they get hit.
