A wall quote from Reliah - followed up by Slebo - sparked a memory of something I studied several weeks ago.
Kintsugi is considered the Art Of Embracing Damage. In a practical sense, it is repairing pottery with golden lacquer to make a more unique and beautiful piece - not to hide or be ashamed of its broken places. I thought the idea behind this practice was absolutely beautiful. Here is a video on the topic:
