"Never Forget"

I don't doubt the facts, the facts are that a lot of people died when two planes flew into two buildings. Those are literally the bare minimum that can be agreed upon as fact, because for those who have done sufficient research, almost everything else involved in the official story stinks to high heaven.

I may not be able to tell you who did it or why, but I can tell you (as a Boeing engineer) that a 757 could not have caused the damage at the Pentagon that the official report claims. That fact was the awakening for me, and when I started looking at it from a different perspective, none of the pieces of the puzzle fit.

I also agree that "Never Forget" screams nationalistic rallying cry rather than an actual effort to honor all the victims in the attack or the brave folks who rushed into harms way to try and help survivors.

But there is something I will "Never Forget" and it's as much a part of 9/11 as the destruction of the twin towers and that is how fear, anger, and a need for revenge got the better of America resulting in thousands of innocent Afghans and Iraqis as well as stories like these:

I watched it live on TV from shortly after the first jet went in. Was up all night and the next morning (was about 1045pm local time when it started) as no-one knew where it was going to lead. I wont be forgetting it anytime soon and I'm not even in the US!!! I believe the official explanations and understand the subsequent strategies, but each to their own.

...i was working at a nursing home, setting the dining room after breakfast when i saw the footage of the first crash...the reporters didn't know if it was intentional or mechanical failure...as they were talking i saw the second plane hit in the background and immediately knew it was no mechanical failure....

being ex military and having spent the bulk of my enlistment on a top secret coms base surrounded by cia, nsa, and other government "spook" types, my immediate reaction was that this was a "fundraiser" event...while in the military clinton cut the funding for much of our overseas spy programs (despite media contradictions)....the cia had warned him that cutting the funding would result in them not being able to effectively gather and exploit intel...a "fundraiser" is a planned "attack" meant to convince the allocations of funds...the fact that bush reinstituted certain practices and funding didn't help my suspicions...as more and more information and disinformation has flooded out i think it was a combination of events...not a true "fundraiser", but a manipulation of vital information combined with a legitimate planned attack that served multiple purposes....we did after all create the hydra known al quaida...

it's unfortunate so many died, and that so many middle eastern americans were treated poorly as a result...people can be such idiots when they're afraid....
