Tesco Refuses to Serve Soldier to not Offend Muslims was created by
This has been making rounds on social media:
Oh, but wait a second, there is no Tesco store on Oak Street London. That's odd... http://www.tesco.com/store-locator/uk/
Ah I get it now! Someone just made up some random rubbish and people were foolish enough to just believe it as given without bothering to critically fact-check the claim. Oak Street was chosen on purpose, because there is no Tesco store there, if you believe it then you're just been expertly trolled.
Don't be a fool and spend two minutes to verify something before taking it at it's word.

Having a great giggle memory..........................
I was in my early teens . . I came home and told my mother one of my friends said . . . "if you don't take a certain action with a certain condition, you will go crazy." My mother said that it was an "old wives tale, not based in fact." Well one girl seemed "crazy" to me, so I argued with my mother and said there must be some truth with it. . . .
She said, "There is the phone book. There is the phone. If you do not believe me call a doctor."

No letter or email was involved, in the example. The old wives tales that mothers taught daughters. My friends at school.

yes, compassion toward awkwardness . . .
ummmm the condition was related to hair care  (this icon looks like bows to me lol . . so be it now hair symbol lol)
I did not put in any specifics on that; because, it was in my mind inconsequential to the parallel I was making to the OP.

Hopefully you hadnt posted about it on Facebook yet...
...
My wife has taken it as a personal crusade to stop the spread of ignorance on facebook, and 'snope-ifies' each claim of a similar theme...
Although, she did miss the March Palindrome thing going around... This is in American date language, lol...
Something like:

Pretty neat, huh?"
