As I contemplate the question, I realize that there is no word that would ever explain what it means to be a Jedi. I see it more as an action. It is the act of placing one foot in front of the other to move forward.

In all things, a Jedi must move forward, take a step on the path of life.

Having said that, the only word I can think of to correlate to this action is...DO! As in Do everything and anything on your path to serve the Force.
