There was a discussion yesterday off-site about self-improvement, being "our truest self," and the fine line that makes those two very different things.

Immediately after that discussion, I was surfing around and found this (which a few of my fellow fans might appreciate):

This, I think, is a nice reminder that we really are the only ones who can determine who we are.

Maybe not "only"... might be a bit absolute. After all, we are not "only a body", or "only our name". Is not our environment and circumstances part of who we are? Are ourselves really the only ones involved in determining what those are?
