I think he's playing on the name of the thread. He's saying that when he apologizes for something it will be done differently than how Connor did it. In Arkayik's eyes his will be better. Unless I'm missunderstanding as well.

If someone has perfected the art of apologies, then they have probably had too much experience doing so.
