Do we need a place to post feats of members anonymously?

This is an important question for me. Maybe we have such a place? Maybe it is lost somewhere in this forum?

Of course, I don't want to encourage vanity. I think, it should be anonymous, only verified by senior members of council.

I think, this would be a tool of great motivation - at least for the insiders of TotJO. Everyone needs either role models or to know that he is not alone on a hard path. And I wish there was a place with short, factual, demonstrative descriptions and illustrations of feats of our brothers and sisters. So that we can be inspired by bravery and wisdom of our comrades.

I am not fueled by vanity myself - for now, I have no feats to share.

But imagine such a board of feats! You could go there, see this anonymous accomplishments, and say to yourself that we as Jedi truly act like Jedi, even if the scale is small for now. And this virtual storage of collective anonymous effort to make world better - step by step - it will grow. And this will be beautiful, won't it?

There can be some anonymous feats like this - "prevented a fight" or "defended a weak in a fight" or "made charity donations" or "took some volunteering" or "created a socially-conscious startup".

What do you feel?

I created a similar topic awhile back, regarding personal situations, etc of how us using the Jedi Code in our daily life widen us, and our society.

Feel free to share your experiences if you wish. :)

No.

But I would love a place to post articles and videos of peoples inspirational and heroic actions.

Like this.

I love what he says at the end. "Im a football guy, and when youre sitting on the bench and your coach calls your number, you got to go in there and make a play."

Part of the seduction of most religions is the idea that if you just say the right things and believe really hard, your salvation will be at hand.

With Jediism. No one is coming to save you. You have to get off your ass and do it yourself - Me

Den, like a wall for encouragement like a "this is possible page"? is that what you mean?

Yes, exactly!

The Creed and Part 14 of 16 teachings sound to me like "Do something useful! Help someone!"

I know that being a Jedi is walking the hard way. My life is no that easy itself, so maybe now I need 95% of my resources for myself and ones closest to me. But I want to know what I can do besides. Want to know a lot of options - not just those 3 which come in mind when you say charity or volunteering.

So, how is the question. And such a wall of encouragement would be like a star map to help find your direction depending on others.

Maybe not full-scale feats, but jedi case study, that ones I had a lot, not a single one completed to reach the status of a jedi feat, however:

- cases when I had grit to calm down in a stressful conversation with shouting and making personal offenses
- cases when I wanted to have a little bitter revenge, but abstained because of jedi spirit
- cases when I had encounters with nonserious criminals and made at least something good
- cases when I believe my support have helped a person to build up after a trauma, with the guidance of the Force on my side
- cases when I persevered situations out of my comfort zone through reliance on the force

I'd call it jedi act case study board, personally. I think, it can bring a new radiance to the topic of acting like a jedi.

You could read anonymous cases - that your fellow jedi persevered, endured, mediated, holded themself from - and you can use this as a role model, as a manifestation of the Creed.
