Isn't that something!? Makes me wonder what things were like back then and why those cultures don't exist anymore or what happened to them? I'm thinking folks were pretty smart back then to build this stuff so why didn't they survive over the last few thousand years?

The UK got invaded a hell of lot during history.. I wouldn't be surprised if that would have something to do with it..

Incidentally, I have seen a copy of the Magna Carta at the British Library and it is a beautiful document, in more ways than one.
