If you hadn't put the underlined section I would've thanked that post. When two people of different sex fight, the violence isn't "gender-based". That's just feminist mumbo-jumbo. Let's go back to the days when violence sucked because it was violent.

I used the expression because that was the topic at hand.

But yes, I agree in principal, about violence just being bad full stop.

Except it wasn't the topic at hand, which is my point. The topic at hand was really sexism (people reacting differently because of the gender of the "thing" they are reacting about). The violence itself wasn't "gender-based".

for all you know the guy roughing up the girl could be doing so because the girl was roughing him up first. And maybe the girl roughing the guy up does so for the same reason. Or it could be any other reason. Some considered acceptable, some not. The point is gender-based violence is just feminist propaganda, a reality that exists mostly in their minds. The fact is, most violence, including violence between people of different sex, has nothing to do with gender.

Hence why "HAHAHAHA. Violence is so funny!" would have been a significantly more powerful statement (And Daniel would probably have found your sarcasm in good taste too)
