Lost my job and future plans

So I lost my job today after a long ordeal with job performance issues, such as being late and sleeping on the job. In case your wondering, no I'm not just a lazy fucker. I live over an hour away from work, and usually end up being 10 or so minutes late due to traffic issues on the road. I could have left 2 hours early and waited at work for 30 minutes to an hour, but then I have to explain to my supervisor why I was at work and not clocked in, which he told me in the past I could not be.

As for sleeping on the job, I am on medications which make me drowsy, and on top of this I sit in a dark office doing next to nothing (1 or 2 support calls a day on an 8 hour shift), which makes it that much harder to stay awake.

The climax of this problem came the other day, when I was sick and didn't call in because (guess what) none of my supervisors were there (all took off for the week and told us this).

So, I am without a job.

I am going to use the money I have left to file bankruptcy, acquire some things, and then try and make money busking while traveling around, as I do not have money for both rent & these things and will be getting kicked out as a result. In case you were thinking of saying "Well just pay rent and have a place for a month". Sure, I could do that, and then still get kicked out and then have no supplies to live without a fixed housing arrangement.

So, I'll be on less than frequent, but at least I'll have some interesting stories when I pop on.

That sucks bro, I just lost my job this week too...the store I worked at was closed to be made into a corporate store. Beforehand I squirreled away enough money to keep things going for a while, I also made certain to replenish my b.o.b. (bug out bag) in case things get that bad...you know we're always here if needed, best of luck in the upcoming months...

Well. The future cannot be planned. It happens to us, and we might be able to influence it, but all things considered, we also need a lot of luck to accomplish the goals we set for us.
May you find some of that luck. I have full confidence in your abilities and skills, and think you will be alright. You know where to find us, should you need mental support.
My advice would be: Never reject help from someone only because of your pride.
