Me too....

In the debate of free will/destiny, I often say, "[a person] has the free will to choose their action now, but the destiny to live with the consequences..."
Just sharing, lol...

Interesting. I was just thinking about this - this morning. i was thinking about the difference between a "master mind' and a "slave mind".
I believe its all about choice and what we choose to choose.
A Master of self is oriented to leadership and personal responsibility. The a leader Freedom to choose is what is important.
A Slave oriented person is a "follower" and this person rejects all forms of responsibility - projecting it onto the "master. The follower's freedom is "from" choose. All choices are made by the Master.
So I would prefer a world of self guided leaders than a bunch of followers. there are good followers and their are darkside/shadow followers. Following is okay as long as its a choice.

I think the one about war and freedom makes some good points. The propaganda machine tells us that war is good because it protects us and makes us free but when we went to war last what was the first thing done? The patriot act was passed which is probably the greatest intrusion on the liberties of American citizens ever passed by congress. Then it was followed by more and more laws to fund the military which continue to give the executive branch more and more power to overstep fundamental principles of the constitution like the NSA surveillance.

I was once a slave in the sense of "work or die". It's taken a long time to recover but I'm glad I got out of it. I think there should be a lesson added to the IP about this because a lot of the initiates I see come through have no idea.
