After watching the first one, I must admit I found it intriguing but overly simplistic. The idea of "Human Farms" is not a new one and I believe there were at least a couple pop culture references thrown in the video that acknowledged this fact, but what the video fails to acknowledge is the who, what, when, where, and why of this so-called farming. It is not merely the farmers who control other humans, but all those who enable them and it is specific to a certain demographic of people (historically it has been the wealthy land-owners of light or white-skinned Euro/Mediterranean ethnic groups). I feel ill-equipped to fully elaborate on each point of which I feel this video is simplistic, but suffice to say that my initial reaction is amusement and dismissal. It's not even scratching the surface of things like conflict theory while pretentiously propping itself up as informative.

Most of those things Billy Crystal brings up will happen because of the aging process, not any kind of slavery.

Wescli its almost scary how much we think alike! :woohoo:

I've posted the first video a few times and its pretty good but misses some points. Though Stefan Molyneux explains things well enough on a number of issues.

If I may can I add to this topic...seeing as how human enslavement is the subject of what I teach? ;)

I am by no means saying that I agree with everything in the videos. I ran across them while comparing the ideals behind Libertarianism to transcendentalism and found several of the ideas and concepts to be not only interesting but well said.

I offer them as entertainment and for people to make of it what they will… maybe even spur a thought in a direction not many would look at normally.

I also find Stefan Molyneux's ideas/views/theories/whatever on free will interesting. Do not totaly agree, but the debates are interesting. :P

So far as I'm concerned (or at least aware), and despite his opinion to the contrary, he's yet to give an account of free will... he doesn't describe a mechanism whereby a "free choice" can come about in or interact with a causal system, which is the (entire) crux of the free will/Determinism debate.

But then I don't believe in free will so I guess I was bound to say that... literally. :D
