We live in a society where evil and hate govern. Destroying and committing the downfall of love. Death is worshiped, perpetuated and glorified. When love, real love is deemed dangerous...
More security?
Really this must mean a lack of, and an insecurity....

Well, it could be said that we indeed DO need more "security" ...
But let's also ponder what that might mean :
"More security" does not mean 'more security guards' and 'more acute surveillance procedures'. We need to be allowing people to feel more secure.
Hate and mistrust on this - and any other - level are degrees of fear. And, as it has been pointed out by many, the human has organised the World in such a way now as to be constantly in the fight/flight mode whereby our bodies and our remarkably developed brain systems are constantly flooded with cortesol , keeping us stressed - a constant feeling of danger - pretty much all the time. We have made the characteristics of other groups of people (religion, nationality, ethnicity &c) causes for alarm - that which triggers the fight/flight mode. Since in walking down just about any pavement in any city - and most planetary residents are city-dwellers now - one sees more fellow human beings in a quarter hour than our ancestors would have seen in a lifetime, we are constantly confronted by the 'evil Other'.
More security cannot come about by 'security measures'. That would be simply adding more fear to fear. One would be compounding the fear, NOT compounding the security. The only way of providing for more security would be thus to do precisely that : allow people to feel more secure, not simply better protected.

That's basically what you and your countries do...
A month ago a Persian was killed with scissors in his stomach in a park in one of European countries. Doctors said it was suicide and police remained silent. Why would a highly educated person suicide in park with scissors?
The security check on Muslims in airports in Western countries take longer, much longer, than usual. Let aside the hatred and random attacks to Muslims in different areas of Europe and America... or the injustices in court when they turn to law to defend themselves - pointing to that woman who was raped and the court charged her.
And your governors claim to be the guardians of human rights... heh.
update:
By that I meant what it was suggested in the picture to be done on Christians.

I fully agree with you, Sajjad ... there is too much paranoia.
It ... was not sarcasm at all, but the essential part was what is meant by security, not what is implied by "more".
The point is, more security measures (and badly, fearfully employed ones at that) will only result in less security for everyone.

I think the way it's meant to work at the public face of security is to receive/act or detect/create information about actual threats.
I guess its pretty expected that overcompensation will creep into systems tasked with providing security in the wake of act's of terrorism... and instead of focusing on actual threats they become focused on some concept of prevention by focusing on people who they might expect to be more likely to fit the profile of an attacker. When in reality an attack these days can occur from anyone for any reason!! If security measures are not effective for everyone then they are not effective, and indeed by 'profiling for the sake of profiling' they might be leting weakness into the system over those non-profiled groups.

norwegians have norwegian police to deal with norwegian criminals. We had the same thing to deal with corsican terrorists, and with the muslim ones... Why? Because we were actually getting those. I don't recall having to deal with norwegian terrorists, however, if norwegians were to start bombing the metro, I'm sure they'd put measures in place against that as well. We're just not going to put them on no-fly lists as a result of them selling toxic salmon. I just discriminate against their crappy fish.
