I really didn't know where else to post this, but it felt important enough to get up at this insanely early hour and tell people about it.
One of the few gifts I have is dreams. What I mean by that is they tend to be vivid, and occasionally they have a lesson wrapped up inside them. What you take away from this depends on you I suppose.
The dream began with the loss of everything. We were as we are now, living our relatively extravagant lifestyle, and in a flash it was gone. We were all forced to live simpler lives, let go of our complex technology for things far more essential. We were lost at first, but adapted quickly enough in order to survive. We lived off the land. We seemed also to develop a strong moral core.
The dream got to be a little more personal at this point. I saw a girl that I knew instantly was my soul mate. We were married in no time. We had a daughter named Adriana (and yes, that was the specific name we chose). I remember being so completely and unconditionally in love with them both.
Something fascinating began to happen, a skill that made our lives easier to get used to. Somehow combining certain elements created specific results (I'm not sure what the "elements" were, but fundamental parts of life). For example, combining two of them would create energy to power our technology.
Then things began to fall apart. There were natural disasters. People began to be greedy again. My marriage fell apart. I felt profoundly angry as someone insulted my wife.
That's about when I woke up. Sure it's a bit jumbled as dreams tend to be, but it's still so clear in my memory. I hope this was of benefit to someone.
