Why I love the council...

I love the council for all the hard and thankless work you've been doing.
I love the council for your patience. I know a lot of the "attacks" lately haven't been easy to deal with, and I know if it was me I'd probably feel like saying "screw you all" and quitting. But you've all been handling it so well from what I can see and I admire you for your patience and restraint.
I love the council for the time they have given me when I needed questions answered or just needed to plain old vent, especially Master Damion, Wes, Alex, Reliah and Master Jestor.
I know I can drone on and on about things at times, but you have always given me great advice and direction, and I'm very appreciative of that.
I love the council for your focus on quality over quantity. I appreciate the mindset that it's better to have a few dedicated members with similar goals, than hundreds or even thousands of members with differing agendas. The knowledge that having a few people who are going in the same direction will help us grow rather than a lot of people pulling us in several different directions and thereby stunting our growth. (I'm not suggesting that people don't have different ideas on how best to learn and how to get where we are going... just that the direction we want to head in is similar.)
There are lots of other things I love about the council, but it's hard to think right now. There's just too much going on, so I will add things as I think of them.
I invite everyone else to add things they love about the council as well. There are things going on that I've noticed (and I'm not sure who else has noticed these things), and because of that, I think the council could use some positive and uplifting words (not to mention the fact that they deserve it... I don't believe their job should be thankless...)

I love the Council for tolerating my constant my silliness!
And I love all of you for just being you. I appreciate the trust each of you have shown me and the support we get when things are not always fun.

I love the council because...
Reason One
Reason Two
Reason Three
Reason Four
Reason Five
Reason Six
Reason Seven
I have something in mind for every councilor we have... couldn't find some of those... it's hard to find a post around the forum sometimes
But I don't need these reasons to like our councilors, do I?

I don't know every Knight or Master on the Council, but the ones I do know are some of the finest people I've ever come across. Generous, wise, kind, compassionate. And, perhaps surprisingly, all very funny.
Each one embodies what it means to be a Jedi Knight.
I'm humbled by the time, effort and patience they give to us all, asking nothing back but a little decorum, and rarely so much as batting an eyelid when even that's withheld.
Thanks to you all. I would extend this to all the officers here at the temple as well. You make this place what it is: a refuge, a dojo and a.. pub?

I think it's great the way the Council members openly respond to questions (even if they are silly sometimes  ) and how they really address criticism without getting angry about it, even if the criticism is brought forward in words or in ways which could be viewed as disrespectful or as a personal attack.
I've only been here as an active member a short time now but already I have experienced the Council members here as dedicated, compassionate and good-hearted. Thank you for the great work and for all the time and effort you invest here. I've seen quite a few Jediism sites out there, but TOTJO seems by far the most professional and dedicated one, which is why I decided to become a member at this site and not anywhere else. Again, thank you and May the Force guide you in all your tasks and responsibilities.

I love the council because no matter what it is or when they will always talk to you. They are always there when you need them most and will never turn someone away. They all bring someting new to the table and its fantastic. Stay classy council members.

Quite honestly I had no idea what you were gonna say, although technically you did say it.

I love the fact they make the decisions many of us would rather not make, and their ability to not make those decisions rashly.

I fear their spiteful and stinging back hand. j/k
As far as I am concerned they act like a Council. Better than most "councils" out there. I'm not in the habit of complimenting people for doing their job(even if it is volunteer. Don't volunteer if your not gonna do it, after all), but it should be done once in awhile. Its not like they have too. I suppose that is a good reason to be thankful and too like them. Spurious skulduggery not a regular occurrence.
