Thought that some of you would be interested. Star War's episode 7 isn't far off and all sorts of speculation, both official and non have been made. Release date is December 18, 2015.

I've heard all kinds of rumors, so I'm not taking anything at face value right now. I once heard that the original actors would be in the new trilogy, but that was back when Attack of the Show was still running. Then in interviews with Harrison Ford, he's made it sound like he hasn't yet been invited.

So who knows, right?

If it's not an official announcement, it's probably not true.

All what is being said is official as far as prospects go for the main role. Narrowing down these prospects you have Michael Fassbender, Hugo Weaving, ‘Girls‘ star Adam Driver, and Jesse Plemons.

Even if it is an official announcement, it's probably not true. I'd like to call the jury's attention to Exhibit A: "Star Trek: Into Darkness", and Exhibit B, its subsequent lies about who and what the film was about.

I'm a geek at heart and I tend to like to discuss my favorite movies. Especially ones that are dearest to my heart. I feel that nothing is wrong with speculation and it only increases the anticipation.

I have heard the next trilogy will cycle around one of Han and leia's children. Which one I don't remember. And Luke is the Grand master of the new Jedi Order so I would think he should be in there somewhere. What I find entertaining is Samuel Jackson is really wanting to be in the next trilogy even if as a ghost or holocron.

While we're speculating, let's not forget that Bobba Fett isn't technically dead... There is already talk of spin-off movies for him and for Han Solo.

Let's also not forget the most important question of all. What is Lando Calrissian's role in all of this?

I read this article that said JJ Abram wants the original trio, Han, Luke, and Leia, to return for one big send off in the next movie, then turning the proceeding movies over to their offspring. I think it's a great idea.
