I think instinctual circuits are more informational then actionable, but the capacity exists for them to direct action as seen in fight, flight, freeze and the raw reflex actions themselves. I categorize all them as being part of my 'subconscious' - but not inaccessible to the conscious, and being especially accessible through the autonomic nervous system's network. I've always been a fan of Leary's Eight-Circuit Model of Consciousness for mapping out subconscious processing, but I sort of bundle it all as a 'dark side' pursuit since I'm of the opinion that the instinct is inherently selfish and co-factored with a design for speed over anything else leads to less suitability for how I perceive a Jedi path.

Agreed. . intelligence (knowledge) as in collecting, gathering has limited value at the individual level or group level. I.E. data-basing . . . the modern form of the industrial revolution. Price per unit is?
Intelligence as in ability to learn . . . . . good will Industry is an excellent example in terms of industry in a common purpose . . .recognizes human worth.
Intuition is not the same as instinct. True. Decisions based on “feel good” emotionalism keep a hungry human beast in the herding flock. Law of Attraction and match dot come, for example. Nibbles and bits for numb numb tubies time. . .
Instinct. Basic human instinct. Fight Flight Freeze is not the same as senses or cognitive decision-making. . . yet instinct, in my opinion, correctly understood and utilized by the individual saves time, saves lives, and improves quality of life in terms of capacity for decision-making and survival.
Basic human instinct is self centered and natural. . . experienced by the experiencer. Intention, although, is either selfish greedy or not where conscious choice is involved. . . . although the ability to see and utilize that . . . is often obscured by ignorance. Intelligence and Instinct belong hand in hand in my opinion with some redefining of self responsibility and selfishiness in mind opinion.
