Partly because of MCSH's project in another thread , and partly because I have a strong desire and curiosity about the ever-developing history of the Temple, I just spent an hour or two combing through the Announcements board to try to piece together every Master/Apprentice relationship I could find, record all the Knighting Ceremony dates I could get my hands, on, ordination ceremonies, everything.

WHAT I HAVE:
Warning: Spoiler!

WHAT I DON'T HAVE:
  • Anything before 2010
  • Literally anything else.

If you have any information, or if your name doesn't appear in one of the lists you think it should, reply on here or shoot me a pm, and I'll get it added.

Thanks for your help!

Good job:-)
Edit:
I tried to look for archives... they were where I got most of my information from. I couldn't find them.. not sure if they have moved somewhere or... I've lost my way around temple.

Some of the missing clergy info can be found in the Clergy Announcements section:

I got a decent amount of clerical information from the Clergy link V-Tog posted, and I plan on going back through both boards later to ensure that I have the information correct, and to try to get consistent dates--many of the dates I posted in the beginning of this thread were announcement dates, but I'd prefer ceremony dates where I can find them.

I've uploaded this information into a Google Drive spreadsheet that I'll continue to update. It can only be viewed through the link posted below.

Part of the message is hidden for the guests. Please log in or register to see it.

In addition to this, I have at least two other formats planned for this information, but if you click that link and find something missing that you have knowledge of, please pm me. I'd love to make this as complete as possible.

Still lacking any information prior to 2010, and still missing lots of folks I know have reached a rank, so it'll be a looong road. Still, will be fun.

My Senior Knighthood was 12 Mar 2012

The A.Div is granted upon Knighthood so it's the same date.

Many of us senior members were 'field promoted', meaning we did not have ceremonies, and do not have the proof (documentation) so many of the current members have...

Damion Storm, who joined not long after me, is probably the most documented member, lol...

Akkarin might give him a run for his money, maybe RyuJin too, lol...

DOCUMENTED, not necessarily able to find posts, I mean as announcements and whatnot...

Like any organization, we who have helped create what you see, are unpedigreed, lol, we have our life stories, and lessons learned, but the internet is not big enough to include every lesson we learned...

Perhaps when the day comes I step down from council, I will redo the IP... (lol, you guys have no idea how often I do it mentally, lololol... And, the lessons and points of view I get from reading of your adventures...)

Back on point...

TO create TOTJO, and give it legitimacy, we have tried to curtail the 'field promotions', mine and 666 being two of the last I believe... And that happened in 2010...;)

MArk, Ren, to mention but two, and the last two to step down from council, also wanted legitimacy, and we strived to make criteria... Which is extremely difficult with a 'life path' such as this...

The hardest thing, was telling others, that their life experience, or work at another organization no longer counts toward our system, its really tough telling folks that....:(

But, in the interest of totjo, it was for the best... Everyone started from scratch once records and the systems cogs started gelling...

On walk-about...

Jedi ain't Saints....

There's nothing wrong with starting something that way. It's how most organizations (including many kingdoms!) have started throughout history. If that's the case, I just need to get my hands on enough information to make a list of those folks, and we'll put some kind of note in the text, and we'll move on with life. :)

Ah....my knighthood and sr. Knighthood both came towards the end of 2009...october or november I think but I don't remember for certain...I had completed the ip and done an apprenticeship under br. John then kana seiko haruki...there was no degree system or clerical system in place back then...I have also completed the degree system to b.div and completed the clerical to the requirements for m.div at a time during its transition into its current form...due to the new requirements for m.div it's no longer completed....like jestor pointed out, a handful of us are very documented now...and the learning never stops...you'd have to find my old training journal to get a close estimate of the dates...and its buried deep in the forums....usually takes me a couple days of digging to unearth it....

Outside of personal messages to me and replies to this thread, is there anywhere I can start looking for some of this pre-2010 information? Are any of the older versions of the site archived anywhere? Is there anybody that might have any kind of (semi-)official record of this sort of thing?

My interest in this has gone beyond mere curiosity at this point; noticing that TOTJO (in its present form) has very little in the way of historical documentation, especially in regard to these training lineages, has become a point of intellectual zeal for me. In order to understand where we are, we need to understand where we have been, and the compilation of such histories will go a long way toward transparency, toward learning from the past for members who weren't there to live it, and to cement our legitimacy toward complete outsiders (which will have the added benefit of making the public image of Jedi and Jediism better, TOTJO or not).
