The millipede was walking perfectly until someone asked him how does it works? Which foot comes after which?
And he couldn't walk again.

Don't think about it. .. just do it. Meditation is a very personal experience. You'll do it right. Even if you made a mistake, trough trial and error you'll learn how to do it [strike]the right way[/strike] the way you like it.

The books I've been reading said that on a Journey, thank the spirits you are with and say "Good bye". They said to say "Good bye" even if you aren't with anybody. It's a sign to your spirit to return.

I was in a Journey once and suddenly had to pee.... I was in such a state I felt as if my head was still in the clouds and I was in more of a dream then in the gym heading to the bathroom. Is this what you mean by overwhelmed?

Since then, I've always made the effort to return instead of snapping out of it XD I know you said meditations, but I journey as apart of mine. :) It was just another thought. Maybe it'll help :D

A drum bell would be good to help signal that. Yesterday was the first time I used a track that did not really signal the end well and I just snapped out of it all at once. Maybe I'll use a timer like someone else suggested next time I use that track. Yeah, that is what I meant by overwhelmed. I'll make sure to ready myself next time regardless of how it is ending. That was helpful, thank you :D.

You like all of us cannot get ahead in life if you were never once behind. There are a lot of opinions and experiences here, but they are not yours. There are so many here that I honestly cannot imagine what you are going to do with them. Are you going to test them all out, take the one which tickles your fancy, or the best sounding explanation? And what do you do if you take one or all? You will always know what W, X, Y or Z said but you will never really know what if not, or how, or what it took. What will not kill you can only make you stronger, so what is stopping you from taking the plunge for yourself?

I'm sure I will form a opinion about this just as I have been for as long as I can remember. When I sit down to start the ones that really resonated with me will come to mind. Not all of them will work, and I'll probably come up with my own method in the end. We all have to have a starting point though. It is rare to come to a decision without outside influences, even if it is subconsciously. What our mentors when we were young taught us stay with us, even without us realizing it, it is how we became who we are. So, why not get advice from members of my new faith? You are to be my mentors on this new journey. I am taking the plunge myself, there's nothing wrong with a little guidance beforehand/

Everyone who has responded, thank you for your responses, it is much appreciated :D. I will take it all to heart and make the best of it I'm sure. I'm really enjoying being a part of this community, so thank you all!

Dude just do some yoga at the end you'll snap to in a whiff.
