You know me, the old Ying Yang thing.....
I think mildly expressing anger is a valuable socializing tool warning people that something is amiss. Kinda like the yellow caution light on a traffic signal. Cranking it up in a threatning situation can prevent physical contact that could result in injury to both parties. It's extreem and uncontroled anger that brings in the negative/bad aspect of anger. IMHO

So long and thanks for all the fish
Most people can't even control how much they eat, let alone what they feel. Having lived a great deal of my life in anger, I see it's use in developing boundaries, however I have found it tends to be that boundaries with negative foundations usually lead to greater problems down the road.

Agreed, I would put that under extreem or uncontrolled. Many people use the expression of anger to control/manipulate people and that would be wrong as well.

I spent a good deal of my youth in anger. It gave me extreme focus and the ability to “bull” through things blindly. And that was also the problem.
It was not until I was able to let go that I saw things for how they actually are and not just how I thought they were.
I still get frustrated from time to time, and I do experience anger (very rarely) but I recognize it for what it is and attach it to nothing. Just let it wash past. (experience it and let it go) Make it much easier to be open to new ideas, views and possibilities.
On a different note… just as anger will blind you to the truth, so will joy or passion. I am NOT saying we should never feel anything. Quite the opposite. But we should not let these feelings control us.
What is anger? It is. It is part of the experience we call life. It is a natural part of existence. It is just one piece of a much greater picture.

Anger is a great indicator that something is wrong. Usually it is attached to something, and that something should be addressed, and dealt with.
We have a saying in the Dark, that emotions are never wrong, its just that people seldom listen to them, or learn to. More often than not they are ignored in various ways.
Listen to your anger. Whats it telling you? What is the source of that anger? Whats it telling you?
