The problem isn't technically that, it's just what the office of presbyter was and the tradition were distorted intentionally for power and finance. In Eastern Christianity they at least got it right, and they do have a women priesthood, technically so do the roman catholics. Women priests are known as.....women.

Let's point something out here. .. there are psychological differences between man and woman. You can't deny it. A priest requires some skills, some action, some of them are easy for both sex to have but... there are a few that a woman may -you can't be certain about such things- not be able to do....

I'm not saying they should, or shouldn't have women priest. .. I just pointed something. ..

well there's prayer, the average woman can do that.

sacraments, baptism? Yep Communion? Yep Confirmation? Yep Confession? If a woman can't then neither can a man. Weddings? gee, let me think.. Last rites? Form of prayer, easilly done.

The issue was actually, that priesthood was a male path of devotion, women had their path of devotion. It didn't have anything to do with ability lol.

Look up Priscilla and Aquila? and tell me they aren't capable lol.

I take that back, I don't want to face an angry woman with a golf club.

Just to answer Elizabeth, and has nothing to do with priesthood... and there are other things as well.

I'm talking about what I've studied... not just guessing things... and one thing to consider: in science related to human, there always exceptions.

Judgment: Emotions won't let a judge to have fair judgment.

Competing for mastery: it is proved that most prefer to help a weak player to finish the game rather than compete for mastery.

Group Activities (not 2 3... more like 20 30 or more): look at a playground. If a few boys argue on something. .. after a few minutes the game will resume (and perhaps 2 or 3 will go home crying) but if the same thing happens among girls, they take sides and will split the group. Not saying boys won't take side but, they do it less...

Okay sorry... please if you want to talk about the psychological differences between man and woman, either pm me or start a new topic... this is about pope.

If there are both capable of the same thing and there is no difference. ... Why the hell do they have separate path for same thing?

I never said there was no difference. I just said it was a path of devotion that was gender specific. in the same function that monkhood and nunhood is.
