To be fair you'll probably know more than people here. All I remember of totjo before I joined is a mess regarding a broken site, then a mess regarding a stolen site, then a mess regarding some money asta had donated, then a mess regarding a pedo... That's about it.

Also as far as I know I'm the only Shadow Jedi here.

I will neither Deny nor Agree with your compliment Ren ^_^ hehe

I do know quite alot...But I know it from a member view and not really from an administration view which is key to making this history project accurate and historic. :) I plan to add what I know. In the end the entire article will be written by me with honorary mention of all those who helped :) but I gotta do the refresher research XD

Like I remember as a member hearing alot about a certain member from Totjo/f who was found doing some....dishonorable things (The Pedo part) which sprung a huge debate and conflict on one of the boards and eventually lead to a spiteful split. Terms were aggressive and both boards against eachother.

Thats a member perspective and not at all informative. Thats where Administration comes in :)

And if you are the only Shadow Jedi you know...Perhaps you can write it's history?

Quick rant

I have delayed responding to your request as this sounds like a lot of work for someone I do not know, and do not know if I will ever see again. I said I will help you but not do all the work for you. This is your project not mine. If you have a question I will answer you.

Sad that so many feel that recording our history is to much work. I can assure you. I am doing most if not all of the work in this project. As he said. It is mine. However. If the history is to be accurate and not misrepresented, it requires all of you to step up and volunteer. I am not asking for much. A paragraph...two...three if I'm lucky. Is that really "To much work?" Really?

I cannot Ask questions to have them answered because there is sooooooo much history out there. I have Sooooo much to do I couldn't even begin to find the right questions for the right community without at least a very beginning basic of what that history was.

Yes. I have been around for a very long time. But that does not mean I have been to or seen what alot of these sites have experienced in their own history.

Disappointing...Really it is painfully so.

I even PM'ed BR. John in plea for help and he hasn't even had the courtesy to write me back at all.

Sad.

Things have been rather hectic over the past few days with us setting up new meetings for people etc... if a topic doesn't get bumped then it gets lost under the piles of new threads and posts we get each day...

Surely you don't need all this information at once? Is it so desperate that the information must be given straight away?

We won't turn you away, but we will forget and I know that in the last week or so John, and a few of us, have probably received about 100 private messages...

The best thing for you to do with this topic is really just to keep bumping it and maintain our attention of the subject and we will get round to it... in time...

Yes, you have been around a long time....

We are very NOW, and care very little for the past... (or the future) (well, we should be this way, lol)

It is full of highs as it lows...

It has been ask may times, and a simple site search for "history" returns 109 posts....

We get on kicks about it occasionally, but really we dont care...

Just sorta neat and interesting... lol...

THis post seems to have more than any other...

http://www.templeofthejediorder.org/forum/Jediism/85104-history-of-temple-of-the-jedi-order?limitstart=0&start=30

Of course, we would prefer it to be accurate, but if its not, we would be ok too
....

So, someone tells me, "Jestor, I think we should have all new members do the hokey pokey before becoming Jedi"

"Ok" I say, "lets make it a policy"...

So it is now a policy...

Then one day, that same someone says, "hey jestor, no one is doing th hokey pokey before joining"...

I say, "Oh, are you not watching the new members?"

"Well no, that is your job"

J- "Well, I rally dont care about it, if you would like it enforced or requirement met, you need to enforce it... I didnt agree to make it my duty... I only agreed to make it policy..."

S- "well who is going to enforce it?"

J- "I dont know... [and I say this a lot here kitsu] Itis your idea, you need to champian it... Get it moving, showit love, nurture it, keep it alive..."

Honestly Kitsu, if it was that important to us, we would be all over it like white on rice...

If you would like to submit questions, I am sure we would answer those... Some would, lol...

But, just becasue your project is important to you, doesnt make it important to others, nor make it "sad"...

On walk-about...

Jedi ain't Saints....

I wrote a response to your PM. When I get home I'll see what happened.

It does make it sad. Jestor. It makes it sad that people do not care about our history, history is an important topic and should be something to care about.

I am not asking for alot. And I DID ask questions....I have yet to get a answer back for any of them.

Yes. I also understand time restraints and I am not asking for anything to be done by a deadline and I would have been just fine waiting for responses to my questions had I not of received the PM above.

You do not know me. So do get to know me. There is alot of people on this forum that comes and goes everyday that we do not know.

Wont be around for long. Do a quick research and anyone can tell you have been around since 2002 and will be staying around thank you very much ;)

Ask questions. Again. As I said...I DID Ask question. But for sake of argument I'll ask them again. First page. #126659

Even just a paragraph or two will help me greatly in this project. Questions like :: When did the community begin, what inspired it? What are the successes? Failures? Splits offs? What are your current plans for the future? How will you reach those goals? There is soooooo much that can be put into a Historic Exert. All it takes is a little teamwork

Thank you Br. John. I will look through my PM's to make sure im not missing something on my end.

I find it amusing though. So many are always fighting for Unity. And yet we can't even unify for a simply History Project. Tisk.

It reads more like a judgement from you, of us, for not finding the same thing important...

To me, anyway...

As does the "tisk"...

You came to us, for a favor my friend...

We are used to a little less judgement here, lol...;)

If that was not how it was meant, my apologies...

But that is how I read it...

Not the point of the thread, my apologies... Anything else I have to say, I will PM...:)

(unless about this topic)

There is only one person here (regularly) who will be able to answer your questions...

And that's Br. John...

The rest of us can only tell you of the happenings since our joining...:)

All of the rest have left, except maybe Neaj Pa Bol and Zanthan Storm, which are still here, just not on very often...

But, Im sure you know I wish you well on your endeavors....

There is just not many who can tell you of the beginings... No need to be 'disappointed'...

I am currently speaking with Br. John on the matter.

I however value the opinions and memories of the members which is why I posted this here and am pleading with the community to give even a paragraph of memories.

If that's what you're looking for, here's mine :D

I remember back when I joined on 1 May 2013, I was deployed to Camp Lemmonier, Djibouti (in the Horn of Africa). I was seeking something in my life (and at the time, I couldn't tell you what) that was missing. I showed up at the Temple doorstep both with a head of rationality and a heart filled with secret, cautious hope.

I had no idea what I had gotten myself into. Here it is, seven months later, and I now have a head filled with myth and dreams, and a heart filled with faith and spirit.

As far as the Temple itself, it had just undergone a major change in website design and everyone was trying to get use to the new format.

I'm not sure if any of this will help you but here it is :)
