[In search of help] History

Hi there everyone! I am currently working on a rather large project of mine and could really use your help.

I am in need of a complete article about the Online/Offline Jedi History and Sith History which will be posted on my project for public view.. The first creations, the successes, the downfalls, the recovery, the current goals and ideals. Everything! I want everything. [Including the branch off’s of shadow, grey, bleh bleh bleh] It can not be biased or snarky with personal opinion. Merely a history article.

Extra Note: To add to this history collection I have another project where I have been collecting links of online communities involving the force. While this page is meant to be One Complete History. I would also like to add brief (2 or 3 paragraph) history for each link in the list. This will help new members get an idea what each community is about and thus help them choose one that better suits their needs. I would suggest that you just make it all up ...

... such is the value of these 'histories'.

Alternately, you could go for a straightforward 'just the facts, ma'am' approach, steering clear of subjective opinions and whatnot. I think it would be better served with that approach, if you aren't already doing that.

It seems like quite an ambitious undertaking. I wish you well, and will help out when and where I can.

But that is so much easier to see than that wall I haven't even attempted to delve into...

As Des said, you should make sure someone goes through it and picks out any subjectiveness otherwise it is just going to be unfair/ugly...

I would offer myself to go through it when you have more material, out of my own curiosity, but also because I am quite good at proof reading etc

And Alex... some people just have a curiosity about it so I'd rather try and contribute to make sure that a fair representation is made...

Aye, I plan to moderate the entire project and write the final peace up myself. While I have been around for quite some time and seen a whole lot I am not silly enough to think I know every peace of the history. Which is where you and the Community Leaders come in.

Even just a paragraph or two will help me greatly in this project. Questions like :: When did the community begin, what inspired it? What are the successes? Failures? Splits offs? What are your current plans for the future? How will you reach those goals? There is soooooo much that can be put into a Historic Exert. All it takes is a little teamwork

Fantastic. Aye I know Gabe very well I have already messaged him for history about his chapter but will ask him about the complete community as well.

And yes, I have seen that thread. It is helpful with the dates but I was hoping to get more concrete events...so far the conversations are a whole lot of speculation and nothing really solid, it will be difficult to put all of your speculated comments into something solid/historic...I have PM'ed Br John in hopes he will help as well.

If you do make it up as you go, I want to be someone rich and famous... you know, like an actor.
