Does it really matter how we label it?

“Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man.” -Zhuangzi

“Though, as the crusade presses on, I find myself altogether incapable of staying here in saftey while others shed their blood for such a noble and just cause. For surely must the Almighty be with us even in the sundering of our nation. Our fight is for freedom, for liberty, and for all the principles upon which that aforementioned nation was built.” - Patrick “Madman of Galway” O'Dell

One of the biggest problems with reasoned debate we have here is a misunderstanding of terms and implications. From that point of view, yes, labeling makes a difference.

I like this topic too. As for the energy concept and times we are more/less connected to it... If you go with the concept that all things in the universe are essentially energy, then you must consider that our very thoughts are made of this same energy. What seperates it is the internal network of connections between our different parts of our brains (think memories, fears, desires, and creative processes) as well as our neural connections to the rest of our bodies. [every part of our living bodies are connected to our brains through physical wires, or nerves]. So my point is, there is much about how we are structured that can override or mess up the energies from outside our bodies that our bodies can pick up on. Long story short, the more quiet we are, the more (accurately) we hear the universe around us.

To answer your question directly, check out this book. It's just what you may be searching for.

All things in the universe ARE energy...
E=mc^2
E=hf
E=1/2 mv^2 (ok so this one is a limiting case at low speeds)

But yeah it was proven long ago that everything is energy

What Whyte Horse meant by proven is that it was demonstrated over and over up to an accuracy that there is no margin for reasonable doubt left. The certainty with which we know that every thing (and that is every thing, not everything) is essentially energy (that does not necessarily include dark matter and dark energy or space), is a certainty pretty much as high as the one with which we can assert that there is in fact the reality that we experience in some form anyway. So it is proven in the same sense that the existence of gravity is proven, or the happening of evolution or that if measured against the sun, our moon is orbiting the earth. For all intents and purposes its a fact, even if actual proof only exists in mathematics which ironically renders maths a non-scientific subject.
