But it’s still fun to take them and see what you get.

You appear to have a low amount of hypocrisy in your views, but this is more likely due to how much you hate to commit to a particular view on the larger issues. You may even go as far as to argue definitions more than it is reasonable to do so, just so you can stay on the fence. This test may have made you think about things in a new light, but it is not your natural instinct to do so, and before too many more minutes go by, you will probably be thinking about something less intense. To your credit, you do not just soak up new or popular views and then preach about them without giving it some serious thought. Your level of conviction in any of your views depends on how much you've pondered them, and that is as it should be. You should just consider spending more time pondering. You might come up with something really profound if you did so, but be warned that you will have to get off that fence to do so.

Your result for The Hypocrisy Test ...
Philosophy Major
You scored 11% Hypocrisy!
You are pretty consistent and your arguments hold water. You have the occasional lapse, but it is likely due to experimentation, distraction or simply being grouchy some days. You have some hesitation with some of the more taboo topics, but would do well to follow your own intuition on those matters regardless of what other people find generally acceptable. You may just end up making people think, if you put these thoughts of yours into effective words.
It would have been lower (5) if I had answered the hitler question differently, clearly the author didn't know that defeating hitler isn't the same thing as killing him... and that the allies actually didn't kill him. So yea, it is good to both defeat hitler and to believe it's not cool to kill people unless they threaten you. (also Hitler declared war on the US which was neutral at the time, etc)

Wishy-Washy
You scored 58% Hypocrisy!
You have your views and you stick to them for the most part, but you don't adequately examine whether or not they make sense. You very likely argue definitions and semantics more than is actually reasonable just so that you don't have to change your views, but anyone who actually puts your views up to the light of self-contradiction will discover that you apparently don't put a great deal of logical thought into them. You probably don't value logic nearly as much as feeling, and above all you seek group or social consensus. This puts your views at the mercy of people who are rather hypocritical but have stronger personalities than you. You aren't completely against the notion of changing your mind on something, but it probably won't happen until you have enough friends who have the same view that you're considering adopting. Change of opinion happens slow for you, and piece by piece. We suggest you take some basic philosophy courses, or better yet, a course in logic.

That being said, I'm apparently a hypocrite 15% of the time, haha.
