For me, It was a interesting test to make me reflect.. If the questions were asked separately and if I had answered without thinking, I wonder if I would have answered a little more hypocritically, :/ Do you think that being a hypocrite is in part a perception viewed by others? As with most questionnaires, you can't express yourself fully, and so it's a good idea to take it all with a pinch of salt, :)

But yes- feel free to take the test if you like, and if you're comfortable you can put your result up on this thread and discuss hypocrisy (but please let's not get angry about the paradoxes in life or complain and rage about the hypocrites we do feel we know in life! Or at least not too much about that... Friendly Debating Please, :) )
Enjoy!

This test had soem things phrased kinda funny and I couldn't always answer quite as I wanted, I do feel however that it may just be an important part of the test that it is set up in this way. Anyway, this is what the results are for myself:

The Specialist
You scored 16% Hypocrisy!

There are a number of issues that you have thought about heavily and rooted out most of the hypocrisy in your opinions, but there are other areas that you hadn't really applied this practice to as much. Possibly you are very hesitant to go against popular belief in your circle of friends, or possibly your thoughts on the matter are frequently drowned out by the shouts of others. This test probably made you think about a few things in a new light, and you would do well to brush up on some advanced philosophy like Wilber, Hegel, Kant, Habermas, etc. In the meantime, you generally don't have to worry about making a fool of yourself in front of people of a variety of beliefs and backgrounds.

May the Force be with you,
Rai

Funnily enough Alex, ha-
It was on the same site taking a different test that my housemate said was quite fun- "Are you a Psychopath test." :D I Scored "Healthy Lunatic" which I quite understand and am quite happy with to be perfectly honest, ;)
But the real reason is that I went looking for it deliberately out of interest as the thought came to me- most people are more hypocritical and biased than they realize. I believed that idea applied to me as well and hence had a look for the test, :)
I do quite like how it mentions philosophy in some of the other end replies as if the more 'philosophical' one was, the less hypocritical they were, heh..

32% - On the Fence

I can see this being about right because I'm so gray-area.

On the Fence
You scored 37% Hypocrisy!

You appear to have a low amount of hypocrisy in your views, but this is more likely due to how much you hate to commit to a particular view on the larger issues. You may even go as far as to argue definitions more than it is reasonable to do so, just so you can stay on the fence. This test may have made you think about things in a new light, but it is not your natural instinct to do so, and before too many more minutes go by, you will probably be thinking about something less intense. To your credit, you do not just soak up new or popular views and then preach about them without giving it some serious thought. Your level of conviction in any of your views depends on how much you've pondered them, and that is as it should be. You should just consider spending more time pondering. You might come up with something really profound if you did so, but be warned that you will have to get off that fence to do so.

I wouldn't say I hate to commit to a particular view... I just don't look at things in terms of black and white.

Your result for The Hypocrisy Test ...
Philosophy Major

You scored 9% Hypocrisy!
You are pretty consistent and your arguments hold water. You have the occasional lapse, but it is likely due to experimentation, distraction or simply being grouchy some days. You have some hesitation with some of the more taboo topics, but would do well to follow your own intuition on those matters regardless of what other people find generally acceptable. You may just end up making people think, if you put these thoughts of yours into effective words.
