Few are on as much as me... ;)

Its why I was given a ban hammer... ;)

I am usually on it (not always though) before I receive messages... ;)

Wescli was promoted to Mod, years ago, when I had 4-5 guys all making accounts, just to spam and troll...

I doubt many of you saw this when you joined, as i is fairly recent:

UPon the removal of someone, I inform them , that, "the benefit to removing them, has now exceeded the benefit to them remaining...

There are folks here who irk me, and those I irk, but, at the end of the day, I would buy any of them a drink as it is only that they frustrate me and I like them more than some family I have, lol..

But, I get questioned why I tolerate folks as long as I do... I am pretty tolerant, lol...

However, due to conversations over the last couple of folks, we have instilled a 'straw poll' policy, and I ask a few oithers for opinion, so that I am neither to kind, nor too rough, lol... :)

I have actually gotten trolls to stop, all on their own, and without banning... :)

feedback is important in any community

its easy to see the lines from a distance but sometimes people who have genuine respect for the community may still not present themself in a manner which is regarded as respectful by the community

we all have a different temperments and communication styles, and online social acuity is a bit different from "irl" acuity

i have only seen one member that i recall who i felt consistently and deliberately posted in an agressive and inflammatory way and did so simply because he enjoyed the drama

i have seen several members (myself included) who have posted in an obnoxious or inconsiderate tone, who nevertheless i believe are sincere in their desire to be involved here in a positive way

i think its important to keep in mind that not everyone who speaks immaturely or gets on your nerves is a genuine troll

People are complicated.
