Temple news?

I'm curious if there is any where I can receive updates, email, forum posts, blog. Whichever medium it doesn't matter I just feel disconnected to the community.

There is. If you go to your profile tab, there is thereunder a preferences option. You can choose to have e-mail and on site notifications on things you're interested in.

The Force is ubiquitous, and the whole, living universe is a flux of interconnected relationships. So, you are never, even remotely (pardon the pun ), "disconnected" from the community.

On the other hand, one of the absolute best ways of feeling connected is by participation. Now, that said, we don't expect anyone to spend every waking moment on the Temple web-site. In fact, that would be sad ...
Yet, participation is what you're looking for. Even if you receive notification about posts in the Forums, you still might feel disconnected if you do not respond to some, interact with the community or develop relations that enrich your experience.
