1. What do you think about the Jodi Arias Trial? The Murder Case?
2. What do you think about the conviction?
3. Any other comments?
______
1. I've been very interested with this trial and have regularly watched over her testimony, the prosecution, and the defense. Whenever this case was brought up, I was glued to the TV! I believe that Jodi Arias truthfully committed premeditated murder. At the very least, I believe she consistently lied to authorities during her questioning. I feel she tried to manipulate the jury with her acting and sex appeal. The entire murder case was very creepy. I wonder how people who knew Jodi Arias personally now feel about her. Imagine having her as a co-worker in the same office that you work in. She then gets taken away for a trial, where she is accused of murder. She is then convicted of first-degree murder (the most severe). Can you imagine it?
2. Justice was served. A killer got the appropriate conviction. I was very worried that Arias would get away with this murder like Casey Anthony, another manipulative, heinous murderer, in my opinion.
3. The force works in mysterious ways.

It's news to me, never heard of it. Going on that link I'd wonder if she had any other reason for renting a car on that same day? It does seem counter-intuitive to try to hide your identity and then spend the day having a romp around the bedroom with the victim before killing him.

I live in the Phoenix East Valley area and this has been a nutty 5 years with this whole thing. It's a tragedy (for Travis and his family)and disgusting act of behavior of Jodi's. This is not going to end well for anyone in this case....

I don't know about this. In europe we're bitter about Amanda knox and how she escaped justice through her family's use of public relations and political manipulation.

I don't know how we're so quick to pass judgment on things we really know nothing about.
I have followed the Arias and Knox cases pretty closely over the past year, especially. And, while I see evidence in favor of both verdicts, I can't say with certainly beyond reasonable doubt that either is "guilty". Same with Anthony's case a couple of years ago.
Some may say it's "obvious". I don't see it.

I don't know who is or isn't guilty of what crime... After that Libya fiasco (hence the avatar) I have learned not to trust anything in the news.
What I despise about the Knox charade is her family perverting the course of justice. they should be arrested. I can understand, if she'd been arrested in the US (the least free country in the world), that they'd want to pay for all that PR and political interference, but Italy's incarceration rate is 7 times lower than that of the US, and they don't have the death penalty....
