I always thought Aayla Secura was particularly bad a**...mostly because she's so hot. I mean, tough women who are also beautiful are exceptionally bad a**.

Revan and Kreia are also up there, along with Bastila, Plo Koon, Mace Windu, and Obi Wan.

An amusing story involving her, I was at the Dallas Sci-Fi Expo a few years ago, and Amy Allen (who played Aayla) was there. My friend Alan walked up to her for her autograph, and she asked him his name. This former military sniper badass egotist just stood there, waiting, then in a quick spurt told her his name, to which she signed her autograph and he walked back to us.

He later sheepishly told me that when she asked his name he honestly could think of who he was!

Of all the Jedi in the fictional universe though, I have to go with Mara Jade. She began in darkness, serving the Emperor, but managed to come back from it, something very few Jedi were able to do. Moreover, she not only came back from it, but actually learned to love the very target of the hate that oppressed her. Even beyond that she gladly sacrificed her life for the galaxy. That is a level of self-actualization and understanding of the greater needs of the universe that I never saw another Jedi possess.

Tyvokka was a member of the Council who taught Plo Koon (who later took his Council seat.) But the most important and awesome thing about Tyvokka can be summed up in two words:

Definitely going for Galen Marek as the best Bad Ass. Always liked Luke as favorite Jedi, but he's not really a bad ass.

I've never played the game but the cinematics are awesome. Someone on youtube cobbled together a movie out of them which was frankly better than all of the prequels put together.

IMO its very hard for a Jedi to be "bad ass".... you have to be a bit bad to do so. Therefore Qui-gon as a grey jedi holds up truth and justice with a bit of rebellion to the council. Honesty with bad-ass... gotta love it!
