We're in the news... again!

Opie made an appearance on Fox. Despite the interviewer's obvious discomfort with the subject matter, it was fun to watch. And, Opie made a very nice discussion (as did the article writer).

I just LOVE the woman's reaction in the interview.

i had a pretty good lengthy discussion with opie once, years ago...it seems his views on jediism have evolved since then...

over all the interview seemed pretty good, and it was on fox...a national news agency...of course they aren't known for being fair and unbiased...but still good press is good press...probably could of done without the goofy little pics they threw in on occasion...

Im not seeking any publicity, so it seriously was for the best, I would have had to turn him down... lolol...

lol. He and I interviewed twice. The second time he didn't even realize I was the same person that he has spoken with for the Entertainment Weekly article.

"I spoke with a woman last time I tried to write this article. I can probably find her name in my interviews somewhere, but she was an Iraqi war veteran."

I just smiled, as everyone kind of looked in my direction (he didn't notice), "She did detainee operations in Kirkuk?"

"YEAH! Do you know her?"

"She's at this gathering."

He looked between the three of us, and realized I was talking about myself.

It was fun.

Opie happens to live in the same city as Ben, it doesn't surprise me he chose him over one of the other people he could have asked. Of the people he could have asked though, I think he chose the best candidate. I would have been able to answer the questions, but one in particular he was able to answer better than I could have because of his knowledge of the Star Wars Mythos.

I think this may be the best news coverage yet...
