Let's see...A narcissist who things he can change the country, or a woman who has broken the law, broken her oath to uphold the constitution, has been the direct result of the death of others, given secrets to our enemies, etc...

I take it you now have a better understanding of my position in this thread? In answer to your earlier inquiry there is other evidences besides this particular thread that a totalitarian slant is meant here. Case in point:

https://www.templeofthejediorder.org/forum/Jediism/115759-how-we-can-help-the-world

There are others he has produced if you care to look. I don't think using a reference to Hitler is beyond the scope of what is intended here. Now do I really think Silas has designs on becoming the next Hitler? No I dont, at least I hope he doesn't. Instead I think he his vying for attention in the most extreme ways but is also devastatingly ill informed about the subject that he is speaking about.

In any case, even the most even handed forms of socialism produce many of the results I described earlier. It does not take a totalitarian fascist alone, even one with the best intentions, to collapse a nation, simply bad governance that produces stagnation and decay. This is Socialism as a policy in any manifest form.

Well, there is plenty room in every thread where someone advocates for totalitarian communist regimes, if there is such a thread, to respond there and not also utilize those where nothing of the sort was said. I said never mind because I figured this was getting to go nowhere rather quickly, and I can't say I was disappointed.

I would call you ill-informed all the same for that, but then because I'm having such a generous day today, I suppose I can rile it back to something like "this is but a matter of definition."
I for one live in a country with a right-wing Christian conservative government. In this land, that due to some frankly hastily made decisions is rather severely impacted by migrants, there exists not one person who is left to starve, no matter how little they do to deserve the oxygen they breathe, unless they choose to starve themselves deliberately and in secret. No hospital is free to refuse necessary treatment for any reason, irrespective of ideological objections or the patient's insurance or income. Public education, including higher education is completely free of charge to any student and private education is heavily subsidized and needs to meet regional standards irrespective of how it is otherwise funded.
Now, this is not a place of radical socialism, let alone communism. The market is still run by supply and demand, privacy and autonomy of the person in their mind and deed are guaranteed by the constitution in multiple ways. Our economy is growing despite the burden through immigration, and the generous healthcare and education spendings leave us to innovate, often excel, in almost every field. The stagnation and decay you warn against, this dreaded communist wasteland seems to be a necessary result of nothing anyone explicitly proposed in this thread. At least that is not what socialism necessarily entails.

Its debatable whether or not Germany can be considered a state of Socialism. True Socialism is characterized by government ownership of the means of production. Germany has a capitalist market economy, however, with relatively high tax rates. This money is used to fund extensive social welfare and health care programs, as well as anti-unemployment measures and a mostly state-run system of education. In any case, your right, this thread has little future potential but I still contend based on some of the characterizations but forth in general that a radical form of socialism was meant in the original post. Silas himself says he has no issue with being compared to Stalin LOL. ;)
