Grateful my knee now tells me it is going to rain. I never forget to close the windows before I leave in the morning!

Today I am grateful that my sister moving away has made us closer.

I am grateful for temporary relief of a down mood.

I am grateful for the birds outside in my garden; watching them always makes me feel a little better.

And I am grateful for Skype, for making me just a little less isolated than I would otherwise be.

Grateful that, after having my accommodation elsewhere cancelled twice and finally stretching my budget to a hotel out of desperation, they heard it was my birthday and upgraded me to a mini suite with the best view in town :)
