Once it hardens I just have to trim it and assemble...

Just finished wrapping the last few pieces in carvlar and aside from a few small minor chemical burns it went fairly smooth...I mixed the resin a bit hot I think as I only had 2 minutes to dip the fabric and position it before it began to harden...but the plates that are done are really strong....makes that other part of me want to know how it will feel to take a hit in it.....

Mate, what a fun hobby!!! :)

My mind goes crazy with ideas....
There is some kewl motorcycle clothing around these days which has integrated padding over different areas, would make a great base for this sort of thing to be added over the top.

Integrate a waterproof tablet case into the back under the armor and somehow have it slaved to a phone on your forearm, bluetooth comm's in the helmet. If it was temperature controlled I might never take it off

The torso is nearly done with assembly, just have to attach the shoulder plates...then assemble the shin plates...then it's time for prep/paint and final fitting

Lol I've actually considered putting a bluetooth in the helmet and installing a phablet (phone/tablet) into a forearm guard....
