lol I think you can judge the book by its cover.

The website is not well-put together. There's no thought about structure or flow. You think somebody with good Chi made that site?

;)

I don't know. Websites are made by people with tec experience, content is key to me not looks.

Have you read some of their stuff?

Has anyone studied their stuff?

:side:

Websites are made by people who are either thoughtful about the design or not. Don't give them excuses.

But, no, I've not encountered this website at all.

Sorry but I don't see a connection between web site design and qigong. I don't give a poop about how things/people look. In this case it's what they know.

WOW and I mean WOW do I feel tune with Qigong. I'll be writing about this in my journel but we can't discuss it there. I welcome intelligent discussion and questions. Most of what I'll be writing will be a series of personal observations....
I gotta work on my journal too.

I looked for you qigong journals and had no luck, did you get around to writing it?

I regularly practice Shibashi Qigong (although I follow my teacher, there are also instructional videos about it on YouTube) and occasionally other forms such as a 5-Element one or one known as the Healing Form that's quite short but powerful. I find it's really good for centering and energising, or at least giving me more access to the Force.

Mark This? http://www.pro-holistic.co.uk/what-is-shibashi/

I'd love for you to talk about this some.

Donkey

did you get around to writing it?

It didn't seem many people were responding to the subject but since you asked I'll be glad to share my experience and thoughts.

I have chosen 15 movements that incoperates my entire body. It takes around 20 min to get through them all. I keep my movements mild and slow even though I wonder about the physical fitness benefits at times. (I am doing mild aerobics and heavy garden work for endurance and strength) I sit for a few min before and after while sipping a little water to set the stage and wind down of my session. So really It takes 40 min. I feel nice when I'm done.

In the begining most of the movements were upper body but I found after a while my lower body was being neglected. It felt dull, unstimulated and asleep. I needed to stimulate the big dumb muscles so I could feel my energy move through them.

I'm not consistant with the movements but I am consistant with moving energy around my body when I meditate. The movements have help me get in touch with my body sensations and that helps with visualizing energy movment.

I am also feeling more responsible toward my body and the things I do that aren't so good form it. That's proably the biggest change QiGong has done for me so far. I think of my body cavity and internal organs as my power plant that needs to be tended to more carefully and gently if I wish to develope and work with greater energy

I'm getting in touch with my natural appetite (true hunger vs desire)rather than just taste pleasures. I feel a bit more calm and direct myself to avoid unecessary stress if I can. I read more.

Nothing dramatic has happened but I feel good about where Qigong is taking me and will continue to explore it.

Of course if any of you that practice Qigong please share your experiences with me. It's about the journey....

Peace :)
