ASMR: Does anyone have experience with this phenomenon?

I get that, but not as strongly as others seem to get it. Tingles are mild and restricted to my head and upper neck. Maternal-type whispers directed to me trigger it most often.

I think I have that too, though I've experienced it most often while meditating. I actually developed a technique that happens to produce that effect.

If you induce it without any external stimuli, it is known as "Type A" ASMR. Many of us who have ASMR are can induce it this way. I have at times of meditation as well by just thinking about something that would normally give me ASMR. It's rather neat. :)
